Scouting at Home

Pack 406 is commited to providing a great Scouting program even during the coronavirus pandemic, conducting activities safely by meeting outdoors, limiting gathering size, and requiring face coverings for all activity participants.

Take A Kid Mountain Biking

In honor of IMBA’s Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day on Sunday, June 7, 2020, we are challenging our Cub Scouts to go mountain biking with your family! Please share your photos on the Pack 406 Facebook page.

backyard Picnic & Campout

Since we’re not able to have our Family Picnic and Campout this year, let’s do it in our own backyards! On Saturday, June 20, 2020, complete at least three activities at home and earn a Virtual Campout patch.

Scouting Safely

Pack 406 is commited to the safety of our youth, families, and volunteers. We understand that this is a trying time, and we know how important it is to continue to provide engaging and safe social outdoor activities for our boys and girls.

We are committed to following COVID-19 safety guidance measures from the BSA, Suffolk County Council, New York State, and the the Centers for Disease Control as well as local health departments.
