In the Scout Oath, a Cub Scout promises to help other people at all times. By participating in community service, Scouts can come a step closer to fulfilling those words. Pack 406 has served our community for over 50 years in many ways.
Pack 406 honors our local veterans by participating in local events such as the TOH Veterans Day Ceremony and at the LI National Cemetery.
Scouts and families are invited to participate in flag placement and retrival at the LI National Cemetary as well as march in our local parade.
We support HIHI, which offers homeless individuals in Huntington a safe, warm place to spend the night during the winter months.
Pack 406 has marched in this parade celebrating the diversity, pride, and community of Huntington.
Pack 406 has participatied in this project, to help restore native ladybug populations across the nation.
We have collected materials to provide to the Northport VA Medical Center to serve those who have served our country.
While Pack 406 has been serving the Melville/South Huntington, N.Y. communities for over 50 years, we looking for new organizations and service opportunities for our Cub Scouts!
